The Cumberland River has been rising rapidly, and as of this writing, is at its highest level in over 100 years! If you are affected by the flooding, or if you are just trying to be prepared for it, we have some information for you. In this blog post, we will discuss what to do if your home is flooded and how to prepare for a flood before it happens. Flooding can be a very serious event, and it is important to take steps to prepare for it before it happens. Some things you can do to prepare to include:

-Making a Family Emergency Plan. This plan should include an evacuation route, a list of emergency contacts, and a plan for what to do with your pets.

- stockpiling food, water, and other supplies that you may need if you are forced to evacuate.

- securing your home by putting sandbags around doorways and windows, and making sure that all appliances and electronics are unplugged and elevated off the ground if possible.
